This Book teaches Basics, but gets right down and dirty in to learning music. My clarinet professor gave me opportunities to help out with teaching the Woodwind Methods classes at USM for more pedagogical experience. In grad school, I taught make-up lessons to undergraduate students, coached chamber ensembles, and taught lessons to non-majors. In my free time, I participate in community outreach through benefit concerts and as a member of the United Nations Chamber Music Society, the United Nations charity chamber music series that raises money for the United Nations Refugee Fund.
