My teaching experience dates back to my before my college days. By the time I was finishing high school, I had already graduated from a 4 year music program, and I was already teaching students of all ages. I began teaching private lessons part time 13 years ago, and have been consistently teaching students for the last 4 years. Encouraging regular practice on a consistent schedule is one of the key points I like to emphasize for younger students, as it tends to help the student progress and gain a passion for the instrument. Books I use for teaching Piano is the Piano Adventures series of books by Nancy and Randall Faber, which is a great lesson book and a good basic piano method for beginners through intermediate level students. For guitar I use the Hal Leonard Incredible Chord Finder and the Warren Nunes Jazz guitar Rhythm and Background Chords and the Solo Patterns book. Also For both Piano and Guitar I have accumulated many charts and Berklee School of Music pages to use as students start to progress. Read More

Some students have been very young children without any specific musical goals, while other students have been mature adults wanting to learn specific songs or techniques. Years of experience has lled David to conclude that initial musical goals often evolve over time and a minimal degree of commitment is essential to a positive learning experience. Read More

I love teaching music is my passion, I try to give a free way of learning to each student where they will feel the music as a wonderful art of life, the progress will be something quite natural as I approach them into a good technique combining their own personal inspiration, I love to teach some composition too, so they will develop their creativity in their own work. For younger students I start with showcasing what they can achieve with practice and perseverance. I do that by showing my playing. Then we start with the chromatic scale so the fingers can get use to the strings and moving around the fretboard. Same with drums but we start with easy hits and patterns. For adults I would talk about what are their interest and goal in music (genre, style, job, etc) and go from there. Read More
