In 2019, I began my college journey at Florida International University and became a Communications major; however, I did not want to stop studying the violin. For any student, I typically start with Hal Leonard's Essential Elements series. This method book will help teach the basic fundamentals needed to progress on the instrument. For children, I will continue through the method book series while supplementing it with short popular pieces that may be of interest to the student. I started playing violin at the age of nine through my elementary schools string program. In addition to performing with the Discovery Middle School and Timber Creek High School orchestras, I participated every year in the all-county and all-state orchestras and served as associate concertmaster of the Florida Symphony Youth Orchestra. I completed a double major in general music and engineering at Northwestern University in Chicago. I grew up as a "military brat" and then served in the Marine Corps. Moving to many different states and overseas countries has made me more well-rounded and appreciative of cultures. I developed a greater appreciation for music, proving it as a universal language among people holding diverse traditions.
