My teaching experience dates back to my high school days, as I began teaching private lessons part time 11 years ago, and have been consistently teaching students ever since. I am a public schools orchestra director who has taught in 2 school distrcits in New Jersey and now will be teaching in the Orange County Public Schools. I always emphasize regular practice on a consistent schedule as it helps the student progress and gain a passion for music and the instrument. Read More

Hi! Formally, I am a science teacher. I honestly don't know if I love teaching music or science more; I'm so captivated by both. I took off a year to finish a master's degree at UF, but now I'm back to what I love - teaching youth! I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in Education. This degree has enabled me to become a much better instructor, as well as perceive student needs and adjust teaching for different learning styles. Read More

I teach both the Classical and Suzuki methods. I have students of all ages so it varies which student is learning which method. The best for children is the Suzuki method that is widely used in the USA. Classical methods can be used when I teach young adults and adults. It is pretty flexible though and I sometimes teach younger children the classical method. I like challenges and I often have children and older students that express different tempers. Read More

I'm a passionate and motivated instructor who loves working with students and sharing my love of music. In 2019, I graduated from Cornell College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music Performance and Kinesiology Exercise-Science. Performing in different states and islands has been one of the greater experiences of my life as a musician, and I've had the opportunity to play on the same stage as Chaka Khan, learning from instructors Itzhak Perlman and the Catalyst Quartet. Instruments: Violin Viola Music
My passion is to teach music. I have been teaching for several years, of all ages. Since I was a young child, I have always loved music. My music journey started when I was 12 years old and I joined the orchestra class in my middle school. I was immediately drawn to the violin, the sounds of the strings, and I knew when I drew the bow across the A-string that I would play violin for the rest of my life. Read More
