For those who want to put their nose to the grindstone and get as far as they can as quick as they can, I am all for it, but I do not force my students to be this way. Practicing hard must be a personal choice, because it is hard work. The more you practice, the better you will become, but if a student is forced to practice for long periods of time, From what I have seen they will most likely not want to continue. Read More

I believe everyone, even teachers are students forever and we are all equal in this journey. I learn just as much, if not more from my students. I find the most progress in students are when they speak out and meet me halfway in the lesson. I am more than happy to adjust my methods as a teacher because no student is the same. I currently work with people with disabilities in music around the greater Boston area, but want to expand all around in the beautiful state of Rhode Island! Read More

Im an easygoing yet disciplined teacher, and there is nothing I love more than the learning process. I graduated from Berklee College of Music with a Bachelor of Music degree in Guitar Performance and Music Business. I have cut my teeth performing in wedding bands, event groups, and supporting myself as an independent artist. Real life experience has been my greatest teacher; having had the opppurtunity to discover music with my peers, and instructors has been a huge part of my success. Read More

My story in the music begins with the study of Venezuelan folk music. Later, as a violist, I was a founding member of the Youth Symphony Orchestra "Raimundo Pereira" (One of the Orchestras of "The Sistema") in Venezuela. I studied lyrical and popular song with Masters William Alvarado and Inés Feo La Cruz. I have two records production, the first, named Por el Medio Oriente, it is a musical project that fuses the sounds and rhythms prevalent in Middle Eastern music and culture and the second named Preludio y Coda, a romantic CD. Every student has different goals in their music lessons. I aim to create a fun and safe learning environment that doesn't put unnecessary pressure on students. No matter what one teaches, the burden to learn ultimately lies on the student. I believe what truly makes a great teacher is the ability to invoke interest in the given topic, so that the student wants to learn more! I strive to help my students find the same joy I get from music and desire to practice/learn more. Read More
