We will have an open conversation about specific aspects of the flute and music that each student would like to improve as well as identifying their strengths. I use a variety of teaching methods, based on my own experience as a performer that I gained throughout long years of international education. I usually start my beginner students with Flute 101 Mastering the Basics method book, followed with the selection of scales and technical exercises of my creation and a repertoire selection (including etudes) matching the skills progression.
