Playing and spreading music has always been my passion. I am a graduate of USC Thornton School of Music, I hold a degree in Guitar Performance. Thus far, I have been having a great experience playing in the different venues around the world as well as collaborating with other artists. My teaching methods depend on the student's age, experience and skill level. I do my best to try to keep it interesting. I teach my students songs that they want to learn, but at the same time I explain the music theory that goes with it. I teach finger and coordination exercises to help with technique. My approach to learning an instruments is to have the students learn to play by ear first before they can start learning to read music. I find that most students are able to progress quickly because it frees them to focus on the playing the instruments rather than reading notes. My primary goal is to fill the student with the love of guitar and the passion to continue and grow. This is accomplished by continuing to challenge the student while keeping the process as interesting and fun as possible. I encourage the student to choose songs they want to work on rather than my dictating the music.
