For beginning students who are children, I typically start the first day with allowing them to perform what they have learned prior so that I can see where their strengths and weaknesses are. Afterwards, I will work on their strengths so that they feel confident to tackle on their weaknesses. Once the student has progressed in fundamentals, I will advance them to solo repertoires appropriate for their performances. Hello! I am a multi-instrumentalist in the NYC area music and I love performing and teaching! In 2006, I graduated from Stetson University with a Bachelor in Music Performance in Percussion. Since then I have toured the US with The Rock and the Rabbi, Dish, as well as freelanced in Florida from 2001-2009. I realized the power of music at a very young age, when I first started singing in a musical theater workshop. I was incredibly shy up until I got to sing as someone else.
