I achieved my bachelors degree of Music Performance at the Schwob School of Music studying percussion, and have performed with wind ensembles, orchestras, percussion ensembles, as well as popular music ensembles. The books I use can help to develop performance, reading, and technique etc at levels beginner through advanced. Most kids I try to teach with additional factors to keep lessons entertaining, and for adults I try to give them as much information as possible while catering to where they are trying to get as a drummer as opposed to the overall knowledge a kid needs. Evan Michael H. started playing drums at age 5 and never looked back. Born into a musical family, Evan got his first stage experience in a family band with his dad. As teenagers, Evan and his friends created the rock band Escapist and performed at venues across California’s central coast. In 2010, Evan co-founded the rock band STAGE 11 where he's performed drums and other percussion across three albums, multiple residencies, and dozens of independent concerts across LA, including opening for Jefferson Starship at Whisky-a-Go-Go in 2018.
