Do you ever get songs stuck in your head? I love it when that happens! My name is Stefano and music has always been a major part of my life. I have spent the last two decades developing successful methods and solutions that will help you improve quickly and have fun learning the music you love. Our lessons together will give you the tools and motivation you need to play the drums the way you’ve always wanted. Together we will work to overcome your frustrations and pinpoint exactly what you need to make maximum improvement in the shortest time possible.
I began teaching early into my drumming studies when my teacher asked me to fill in when he wasn’t available. That made it easy for me to relate to my students and my love of teaching grew alongside my love of drumming. I have studied the drums with William Lyons, Mark Schulman (Pink, Foreigner), and Zoro (Lenny Kravitz, New Edition). I have toured and recorded with a variety of bands and won the “Electronica Drummer of The Year” at the L.A. Music Awards. I have also coached hundreds of drummers of all ages and skill levels. Nothing makes me prouder than when they play their first show, record an album, or go on tour. Let’s talk about how I can help you with your drumming.
Each student has their own personality, goals, and learning style. I tailor the lessons to each individual student according to where they are and what they want to learn. While every one of my students will get the fundamentals they need to play the drums, we will design specific goals and work to achieve them. Together we will work to overcome your frustrations and have FUN making maximum improvement in the shortest time possible. If you’re new to drumming, or already at a professional level, I will guide you step by step through the process you need to become the drummer you want to be. No problem if you don’t have a drum set. I have everything we need to get started.
Legend has it that Mozart's father (his teacher) would not let young Amadeus practice the piano unless he was there to supervise. This assured that young Mozart would always get the guidance and training he needed to master his instrument as fast as possible. That is how I view my job. Obviously, I can't be with you every time you sit at the drums, but I will be your coach and guide to consistently help you learn to reach your goals on the drum set efficiently and effectively. I won’t just show you what to do, but I will guide you step by step through the process you need to become the drummer you want to be.
