With beginners, I provide material that teaches about finger numbers, rhythm, note learning, and basic material. As the student progresses, I asses their learning style and provide the necessary material and suggestions as to what books and miscellaneous learning tools the student will need. My preferred method of teaching is through the book, Piano Adventures by Faber Faber. My teaching goal is to encourage my students to be lifelong patrons of the arts.  I understand that every student may not be interested in a career in music.  I encourage students to set goals and work toward them.  These goals may include a scholarship audition, playing a piece in front of a family member, or booking their first professional "gig." My main goal is to provide inspiration and inspire a student ( no matter what the starting place) to pick a 'first goal." I enjoy playing my violin in other orchestra with Crown City Symphony in Altadena, Corelli Ensemble, Southland Symphony Orchestra and Palos Verdes Regional Orchestra. In 2014, I graduated from California State University, Dominguez Hills with a degree in Violin Performance.
