If they already know what genre they'd like to specialize in, they will be given a curated coursework to help them build the skills they need to master whatever they wish to Jam out on! For guitar I use the Hal Leonard Incredible Chord Finder and the Warren Nunes Jazz guitar Rhythm and Background Chords and the Solo Patterns book.
