Seeing students achieve their goals is one of the most rewarding aspects of the job. I try to create a relaxed, fun, trustworthy and focused, environment for the student. I like to ask them what’s interesting and appealing to them, then we start the lesson. When I teach at my studio and children come directly from school I give them a snack if they haven’t had any. Children cannot concentrate if they are hungry. I love to see my students gain excitement to their playing as they see themselves progressing. I plan my assignments based on the students desire to improve.
