Steve has spent much of his professional career as a freelance musician in New Orleans, LA, Ithaca, NY, and Washington, DC. During this time Steve worked with many of the great local jazz and RB masters including George Porter, Walter Wolfman Washington, Mem Shannon, Anders Osborne, Ryan Burage, and The Louisiana Philharmonic. As I have taught for many years, I feel encouraged and motivated when I can pass along my love for music. Handdrums: ocasionally i may bring over handdrums for a 15 minute session on how to play them! I supplement some of the things in the book with other literature and hand written exercise to help enhance learning experience. For Adults I try to find what genre and music style they would like to work on.
