In each lesson the student and myself work to make goals for them to accomplish every week and discuss discuss the ways they might be able to go about accomplishing the goals. Sometimes I will make audio recordings of a student to track progress. For a student to sit and really listen to the improvemnets they have made I find to be one of my best teaching tools. My teaching experience is fairly new but as a senior I helped many of the incoming freshman with their technique and how to approve upon it. Encouraging regular practice on a consistent schedule i one of the key points I like t emphasize for all students, as it helps the student to progress and gain a higher understanding and confidence in their voice. I began teaching when I was a freshman in High School and I continued with a full-time load of students throughout all four years because of how much I loved it! Eventually adding some beginner adult students into my rotation of kids as well! I taught a few college level students throughout my college years whenever I could and took on summer students during my breaks! Now that I am done with college I am very excited to begin teaching students of all ages again and sharing my love and appreciation of music with them. Read More

I've been teaching singing lessons for over a decade, to all students levels and ages, and I saw them successfully reaching their musical goals with confidence and passion, and that has been very rewarding for me.
