I am a highly passionate musician and teacher living in Charlotte, North Carolina. I graduated from Shawnee State University with a BFA in Musical Theatre Performance in 2018. Before that, I studied Choral Music Education at Ohio University. I have; extensively, studied classical voice, theatrical voice, piano, music theory, and composition. There is nothing more rewarding than knowing that I have shared my knowledge and passion with a student and they grew from it. I believe that every student learns differently, so I teach lessons according to how they learn. I started to teach privately in June 2012, teaching both voice and early piano. I teach students out of their homes, or a space of their choice. I have mostly worked out of their local schools or churches. I encourage and emphasize regular practice on a consistent schedule. I encourage hard work, but also fun when practicing, and during lessons to help maintain a student's growth and interest. I encourage my students to enjoy their instrument and encourage them to find music they wish to learn that interest them, as well as classical pieces. Read More
