After graduating from Lawrence University Conservatory of Music in 2006 with a Bachelor of Music degree in Voice Performance, I have continued to perform and broaden my range of musical experiences through diverse engagement in both the classical and non-conventional realms. Performing around the world and working with some of todays brightest and most acclaimed singers, ensembles, and conductors such as Leon Botstein, Dale Duesing, Karen Brunssen, James Hall, Warren Jones, Phyllis Hoffman, Pro Arte, Bard Festival Chorus, Canticum Scholare, New York City Chorale, VOCES8, and many others has been a privilege and immense learning experience. I majored in musical theater in college at SUNY Fredonia, where I studied voice extensively. I also love singing country, jazz and everything in between. I started my teaching journey in college, teaching children at my community theater camp for the summers. I’ve had the opportunity to perform in NYC in off-Broadway as well as with choirs, performing at Lincoln Center and The Kennedy Center. I currently reside in Manhattan and perform regularly with my wedding trio that performs all types of music for weddings and events. Read More

The books in this curriculum, allow each student to advance at his/her own pace while maintaining consistent progress. In addition to the Quality Music Instruction Curriculum, lessons are supplemented with the Bastien series. I lay the foundation for music by teaching all of the necessary rudiments of music such as scales, fingering, chord structures and then I incorporate music that's appealing to the students.
