My passion for music was born from a very young age thanks to my family who all perform music. My training begins at age 9, when I receive a scholarship from the prestigious Julio Bocca institution to do musical comedy training. It's important to me that students enjoy what they are singing--if they don't, they won't be motivated, are less likely to practice, and they won't progress as quickly. Still, I believe students should sing a variety of literature (and may even find something they didn't know they enjoyed), and regularly start beginning students with some simple Italian art songs.
