In 2017, I graduated from Western Connecticut State University with a degree in Music, concentration in Classical Voice. From there Ive been working on my masters at the University of Bridgeport in Music Education. I will obtain that degree in December of 2019. I started teaching privately in 2010, beginning with in home lessons. Since then I have taught in a private studio, working with students of all ages, levels, and musical sounds. I have even taught classes at the college level, focusing on music theory and history of rock and roll. I have been teaching voice lessons for almost ten years to students of all ages, skill levels, and preferred genres. Many of my students have been successful on stage, in auditions, competitions, and in gaining acceptance into music schools across the country. I regularly suggest music which complements the work we are doing to strengthen the voice, create flexibility, or consistency of tone. I am a bit of a perfectionist, but I also hold myself to that high standard. I began teaching during the Summer in high school, mostly for kids I babysat. However, when my sister booked the national tour of The Sound of Music, my clientele expanded to include mostly Broadway kids. In the past couple years, my students have been seen on Broadway/tour in shows such as A Bronx Tale, School of Rock, and Anastasia.
