I am a passionate artist and teacher who loves working with students and helping them become the best musicians they can be! I graduated from Oklahoma City Universitys Wanda L. Bass School of Music with a Bachelor of Music in Musical Theatre and a Bachelor of Music in Opera Vocal Performance. I have studied voice, music theory, piano and vocal pedagogy extensively. I have been teaching for five years, beginning in Denver, Colorado. I began teaching Glee themed camps and dance classes through an organization in Denver, and then moved on to choreograph children's musicals (the largest of these had 80 children ages six to eighteen!). At my next studio I choreographed and music directed shows (Cinderella Junior and Aladdin Junior). At my busiest in Denver I had thirty-four private students. For singing lessons, I teach speech level voice production. We do scales and exercises to support the technical skills, and develop covers or original songs. We explore different styles if desired and can also record songs, which allows us to analyze each tapes and learn through listening to our own performance.
