Music is my passion and I love sharing that with others! I am a recent graduate of Miami University with a Bachelor's of Music in Vocal Music Education with a minor in musical theatre. I've had a wide array of experiences in both the education and the performing world. I work with the needs and goals of the individual student, and incorporates a wide variety of teaching styles into my lessons. At the beginng of the first lesson I like to ask my student about their musical experience, interest and if they have any over arching goals, and after that I warm them up and teach them part of a simple song either from a popular musical or (for my younger students) Disney song in order to hear the maturity, tonality, and range they are starting with.
