The methods that I normally use are the Alfred Basic Piano Library, and the Faber and Faber Piano Adventures. I also use technique books such as Fingerpower, Hanon, and Czerny. I always incorporate Music Theory in my lessons as well as improvisation. i am familiar with the Royal Conservatory of Music technical requirements and find them necessary to any student wanting to become proficient at piano/keyboard playing. I use may online worksheets for theory, improvisation and fun repertoire as well. i am open to the needs of the student but also have a structured method of teaching so that all aspects of the music learning process is followed. As a resident Vocalist onboard I had the opportunity to travel the world and experience cultural immersion from Europe, the Middle East, Australia, China, Japan, South America to the Antarctic circle. My teaching experience has been ongoing in the last 10 years. Mostly, people have heard me sing or attended one of my performances and from that moment on mostly the parents have approached me to become a vocal for their children or themselves. If a student is not having fun in their lessons, then I'm not doing my job!
