As a music teacher, I am passionate about giving people of all ages the tools for self-expression and collaboration. I am a performer, flautist and singer-songwriter based in Philadelphia and I have been an active member of the music community for over a decade. I believe in acknowledging accomplishments right away and pointing out the strengths of any particular moment during practices so that students know in which direction to work on, as well as see the results of their efforts. Although I don't have much experience teaching in a classroom setting specially, through my high school years I've been a part of different classes and shows that have given me the chance to teach children how to act and perform as well as increase their confidence in their own voice. Like I mentioned before, I originated a role in a musical that was created by a fellow classmate of mine, and that show eventually toured around multiple middle schools and kindergartens. Read More
