Overview:
My name is Tim and I am a New Jersey based musician. I have been performing, learning, and teaching music for nearly a decade of my life. I started my musical journey as a Drummer when I was 6 years old. After many years of hard work I finally attended and graduated from Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA during the Summer of 2014. I have since relocated to the New Jersey/NYC area and most recently Las Vegas NV. I have spent the past few years touring, writing and teaching. I have developed a love for teaching music over the past few years and I believe that teaching will always be a part of my musical journey!
EXPERIENCE
I have been an active music teacher now for over 3 years. However, teaching is not the only thing I do. I am constantly working on music of all styles with all walks of life. I am currently producing dozens of artists from all around the country out of my home studio. I am also in several gigging bands. Playing live shows is the ultimate reward of being a musician and I like to do it as much as possible. I have seen so much on and off the road that I feel I have something to offer everyone! I truly have a deep passion for sharing the gift of music!
METHODS USED
If you are looking for a Classic teacher with classic teaching methods, you are looking in the wrong spot. I teach with an instant gratification method. You will still be just as skilled (if not more) as the rest of any other musicians out there but what you will have and develop is your own artistry and your own path as a musician. So many teaching styles try to make music more of a science rather than a passion. This is not a problem for some people however, for me that teaching style added a lot of unnecessary pressure to what is supposed to be a fun thing to do!
LESSON STYLE
I promise you, a lesson with me is never boring. I also promise, it will always be 100% educational and enjoyable. Like I have said, music is a joyful thing and a form of art that everyone can understand. With all of this in mind, I am still training you to have a select skill that very few possess. I am also realistic with our goals. If you don't want to become the next french horn superstar, thats fine. I am here for you to develop your skills in a craft in whatever capacity that means.
