I am a multifaceted musician, music producer, composer and instrumentalist with diverse musical experience spanning many genres and styles. I graduated from Bard College in 2016 with a degree in music composition. While at Bard, I was involved with the opera workshop and the audio engineering crew. I play six instruments and am able to teach most of them proficiently. Throughout my teaching, I incorporate music theory and ear training into my classes as it creates a fantastic bridge to understanding the instrument. I majored in musical theater in college at SUNY Fredonia, where I studied voice extensively. I also love singing country, jazz and everything in between. I started my teaching journey in college, teaching children at my community theater camp for the summers. I’ve had the opportunity to perform in NYC in off-Broadway as well as with choirs, performing at Lincoln Center and The Kennedy Center. Once the student has progressed to have a grasp of the fundamentals, I will begin to introduce solo repertoire appropriate for their first recital performance.
