I started performing as tenor first when I was 12 years old with the First Baptist Church of Managua City, which they made two annual concerts on the National Theater per year that first would involve performing Classical Music choir performances and the second performance would be dedicated for Christmas, this under the direction of the Jorge Bojorge, who was the director the National Conservatory of Music UPOLI, back then. Tiernan's concept of using the ear more than the score works beautifully with "Hearing the changes" book and her technique for relaxation and breathing is a gift from Madame Chaloff from Boston ,through Madame Vengerova all the way to Leschetizky, arguably the greatest piano teacher of all time. I began my vocal private studio while working on my Masters degree in Copenhagen in 2007. Since then I have maintained an active studio in various cities including Miami and New York City with students of all ages and levels of experience.
