I have been teaching private voice lessons for the past three years. I started teaching during my Professional Studies diploma at Cleveland Institute of Music. I have taught students of all ages from young to old, and beginner to advanced. My students are encouraged to participate in competitions and recitals. I am always loking to bring in new students of all ages! Professionally I've been performing for over 30 years, and teaching music privately for over 15 years.  I perform primarily in Arizona, but have performed elsewhere in the U.S., and in Mexico as well. I began teaching lessons while workibg on my Master's degree. While tutoring a classmate on guitar, I realized that I really enjoyed teaching and decided to pursue more students. My music therapy training gives me a unique approach to education enabling me to tailor all of my students lessons to their personal goals and needs. For piano students who have already been playing and/or taking lessons, I usually start from where they left off with their former teacher. I then gently guide them to the Faber books or continue using the series they're comfortable with, depending on the needs of the student. Hello! I am trained in classical music. I started playing music at age of 7: at first: violine, then flute and piano, afterwards; I was trained in opera voice. I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Music in the U.S.A. I've performed in school, festivals, art walks, solo, duo and trio. I've also performed in a band and orchestra.
