I taught piano,singing and musicianship privately at several schools in Ukraine and Dubai,guiding many students through successful exams and concert performances. Once the student has progressed to have a grasp of the fundamentals, I will begin to introduce solo repertoire appropriate for their first recital performance. I structure my lessons so that each student knows exactly what to expect each week. We begin with Warmups, Scales, Technique, Sight-reading in piano and/or voice. Then we move onto the literature, checking posture for both Voice and Piano. We recap, at the end of each lesson, so that any questions may be answered. We set goals for rehearsals, memorization, study requirements. I record vocal exercises, or accompaniment tracks for the student so that they are able to practice more efficiently. Read More

I believe that each students is at a different level so you have to tailor everything based on that. I believe that reading music is extremly important in the development of singing as well as enjoying music. I believe that each student should know key signatures as well as what notes are on and off the staff. For all students I focus on the following: Breath, Correct Vowel Placement. I believe that if you have solid breath foundations then you can produce purer vowels and in turn if you have purer vowels then you have longer lasting and easier breath production. Read More

I feel like I've been a musician my whole life, starting when I was about 8 or 9 years old and singing in my first Barbershop Quartet and later joining the Chorus.
