Hi! I'm Maeve. I am a professional soprano with 13 years of instruction and 4 years of paid experience as a performer under my belt. Since 2011, I have attended voice programs at Interlochen Center for the Arts, Brevard Music Center, and VOICExperience, and I regularly work in churches and sing weddings. For beginning students who are children, I typically start with breathing and vocal exercise. Once the student has progressed to have a grasp of the fundamentals and are introduced to the Belcanto technique, I will begin to introduce solo repertoire appropriate, for their first recital performance or audition. For adults, I try to find out what the student is interested in, and guild my instruction accordingly to keep the lessons engaging, fun, productive and fruitful, no matter their ability level.
