I approach every lesson with every student with a focus on patience, empathy, dedication to excellence for myself and my student, and a big dose of fun! For younger students and for beginners, I spend a good amount of time on laying out the basics of the instrument, the foundational techniques of playing, basic music theory, and discussions that allow the student to tell me what influences them and what they most want to achieve in music. For the past 10 years, I have developed singers. As the musical director for my local church, I worked with singers who needed help with their skills in order to move from the choir to background singing. Currently, I work with singers in my band and vocal arrange for shows and tours. I actually found myself looking for ways to teach certain people that I would come across but I truly enjoy pulling out someone's potential. Read More

It was there where I learned to sing in seven languages. Read More
Instruments: Piano Voice
For my piano students, I use different method and technique books in order to help my students learn the basics. This includes how to properly read their sheet music so that they can pratice their skills by themselves. I also use repetition and demonstrate different pratice skills so that my students can further advance their piano skills. For both vocal and piano lessons I do demonstrate difficult parts of the music in order to help my students understand the music selection that they are working on. Read More

Iam an active educator and performer in the North Jersey area. I teach K-6 elementary general music in Midland Park, NJ, which was recently recognized by NAMM as one of the "Best Communities for Music Education 2014." Although I am a classically trained soprano, I work on a variety of different literature with my voice and piano students, including folk songs, pop music, musical theater and of course, classical. I believe that well-rounded musicians make good musicians! Read More
