I fell in love with classical music while watching Leonard Bernstein conduct the NY Philharmonic as a young boy.In 1979 I graduated from Eastern Nazarene College with a BA in Psychology and a minor in Music Education. For the past 40 plus years I have taught music to children and adults in school and church settings, and at a performing arts center. I am a recent graduate of James Madison University (JMU) with a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Music Education. Throughout my degree, I participated in many performance opportunities. I have sung in the Opera Scenes program at JMU and a student production of Iolanthe. My teaching experience began at age eighteen, in 1997, when I started teaching private lessons part time until I figured out what I wanted to do with my life. I've taught at piano retail establishments, in home and currently I'm teaching in my own studio. I'm a recording artist, singer and composer. I've performed at weddings, graduations, multiple dinner dates and church functions.
