I always begin a lesson with having the student play a song/piece of their choice, so that they can feel confident and comfortable in their own skin and in the lesson space. For wind instruments, long tones and scales will occur at the beginning of the lesson, and will be followed by study of an etude and/or piece of repertoire. I utilize textbooks and DVDs to accompany the lessons. My approach is straight forward, which enables the students to learn quickly.I think the visual aspect of the guitar is very important, so I focus a lot on theory applied directly to the guitar. I studied guitar with international performing artist Anna Maria Rosado and composition with American composer Annette Le Siege.  I hold a Bachelor of Arts degree in Classical Guitar Performance from New Jersey City University.  I have performed extensively in small venues throughout Vermont, and was a house musician for several seasons at the Yosemite Theater in Yosemite National Park, California.
