Once the student gets down the fundamentals and becomes more technically proficient, I introduce solo repertoire and get them started with some fun and musical etudes to improve finger dexterity. I use to talk with my students for a few minutes, because I trying make them relax. Then I make questions above the homework's if they understand or no. If he/she do not understand the homework's I use to help them again. when they are ready to do I am ready to continue the class.
