I started to teach privately in June 2012, teaching both voice and early piano. I teach students out of their homes, or a space of their choice. I have mostly worked out of their local schools or churches. I encourage and emphasize regular practice on a consistent schedule. I encourage hard work, but also fun when practicing, and during lessons to help maintain a student's growth and interest. I was the Concert Choir section leader in College and found leadership and spreading my love for music to be exhilarating! I encourage all of my students to set a reasonable practice schedule to get themselves into the habit of practicing and really reaching their full potential as a student.
