 Music is a very physical thing as well as a very abstract thing.  In my lessons, there will be kennistetic learning through movement as well as teaching through sensation. Using tools like Solfege it helps create muscle memory and tuning. Piano students will learn a wealth of theory knowledge, correct posture and fingering patterns. I give students exercises that will helpthe student find their true and most efficient voice. I help buildmuscles that will aid in this as well. My ultimate goal would be to guide students through their growth in music and abilities. There is nothing more rewarding than knowing that I have shared my knowledge and passion with a student and they grew from it. I believe that every student learns differently, so I teach lessons according to how they learn.
