I have a year of teaching Chorus in the Guilford public school system. I also have musical theater experience. I have also been singing in church my whole life and have held an interim minister of music position at East Belmont Church of God. After graduation I went and taught in Chicago for a few years and Greenville SC where I was the music teacher in both schools. I start off by addressing breath and phonation, even with the mostadvanced singers, because singing, like anything in life, is alwaysabout the fundamental basics. I give students exercises that will helpthe student find their true and most efficient voice. I help buildmuscles that will aid in this as well.
