In December of the same year, I began my work as Music Director at St. Thomas More Church in Troy, part of the Diocese of Detroit. My work there was different from my previous position. This was a more “contemporary parish”. I used mostly contemporary catholic repertoire and had a strong focus on developing the vocal technique of the choir members. I have been passionate instructor and have been playing multi instruments for 15+ years. I graduated with a degree in Psychology and work as an ABA Therapist for autistic children. I have been in multiple bands and recorded a lot of songs. I have toured Michigan and the outer areas. I have had the opportunity to play at the Majestic Theater in Detroit, as well as St. Andrew's. For beginner students I start with the basic for both piano and voice. For voice we start with breathing, pitch, and starting a healthy techinque and proper places to sing from. For piano I follow the Alfred's serious and begin with music theory as well. Once my students advance we begin with new solo repertoire and more advance theory and sight reading.
