Instruments: Guitar Voice
Everyone has their own unique voice, and we will find yours together! I have training in several technique-driven styles, including classical and broadway. However, I like to mix and match. I'm not interested in teaching one certain way- I listen on the fly, and make judgment calls according whatever makes YOU sound best. My guitar lessons are geared toward songwriting and accompaniment. I stress simplicity, expressiveness, and real-world performance skills. Read More

I begin with students by asking their goals. Once I have a clear understanding of what results the student is looking for, I can then find ways to help them in achieving these goals. For instance, I always work with the student on warm-ups at the beginning of each lesson. This is because it is crucial to ensure we are singing in a healthy way and to give students a tangible tool to take home that allows them to practice and grow in their technique. Read More

As I said before, every student is complitely different, and is important to understand what they need from the very first time, so you can be an inspiration for them and not a waste of time. The voice technique is so important, basic, for a profesional singer, but is not the only thing you need to become a good musician/singer. Instruments: Piano Voice
Assessment is the task during the first lesson. I must determine the student's voice type, and what style of music the student would like to pursue. If a boy's voice hasn't yet changed, I'll assess whether he is an alto or soprano. I'm a keen believer in teaching one to sightread and encouraging one to improvise with his/her instrument! For sightreading I shall introduce The Trinity College, Sound at Sight. Read More

My teaching style is all about making the musical journey uniquely tailored for each student, ensuring it's not just educational but a celebration of their individuality. From the get-go, the lessons are centered around the student's personal goals, creating an environment filled with laughter and joy. We delve into the fundamentals, starting with mastering breath control, perfecting posture, and unlocking the full emotional potential of their voice. Clear pronunciation becomes an intuitive part of the learning process, seamlessly blending into their vocal repertoire. Read More

My approach to teaching is holistic, drawing on a strong background in vocal pedagogy and music education. Teaching voice, piano, and other music related lessons is a position I honor, balancing the technical, musical, and personal goals of each student and making assessments of what to address first. As the vocal instrument is one that matures at different rates for each student, I encourage all of my students to celebrate and grow at the pace that is best for their development. Read More

Born and raised in Paris, France I speak French, English , German and Italian fluently. From a musical family I began learning the guitar at age 6 and the cello at nine. I have had a passion for music from a very young age and would love to share this passion with new students. At 16 I shifted my professional focus onto acting and most recently graduated from the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in Midtown Manhattan. Read More
