Every week (or every lesson) the student will receive a sheet called Lesson Notes, which will account for the concepts and music covered in our lesson.I recommend that each student record lessons if possible for retention of technical tools covered. Listening to the lesson afterward will help the student better understand the concepts he/she is learning. I recommendpracticing a minimum of 30 minutes each day. I have almost 30 years of experience as a recording and performing musician. I studied in Detroit, London and Los Angeles, and recieved my BA in music and Performing Arts in 20011. For beginning students, around ages 5-9, I start with easy songs, but also teach them how singing works. I like to teach technique, and help students improve in their singing. Once students have grasped the fundamentals of singing, I'll let them start looking at solo repertoire so they can practice for a recital performance.
