When working with a new student, I like to hear what they have, so that way I can determine what I need to work on with said student. For beginners, I will start with teaching basic knowledge about the "Guitar", then teaching some basic playing mechanic for hands to practice and warm up. After that, I will start teaching some basic theory along with playing examples which makes sure that the students will understand what they are playing and know how music works and how to use it.
