I began my musical journey in East Orange, New Jersey, where Lauryn Hill and Whitney Houston also got their starts. In 2016, I earned my B.A in Music at Duke University, then went on to complete my M.M. in Jazz Studies in 2020 with focus in Vocal Jazz Performance at North Carolina Central University. My love for teaching has grown over the years out of the success I see my students achieve. Being able to guide a student towards vocal growth is the most rewarding part of what I do. I love seeing the "lightbulb" go off for them. I have taken voice lessons for 14 years, and know how it feels to be frustrated vocally but also thriving vocally. My goal for students is to create a safe space for them to experiment with their unique voice and reach their full potential. Read More
