I found the experience to be fulfilling and self revealing as to how I understood my own concept of singing. I have been teaching for the last 14 years for other music schools as well as my home studio. I love to help new students from the ages of  4-99  in learning the joys of playing an instrument or instruments that they are going to enjoy. I first started learning the guitar in high school. I found I had an affinity for the instrument so I continued to study classical guitar and piano in college. I first started giving lessons my junior year in college and have continued to teach ever since. I am also currently the music director for the Yorba Linda United Methodist Church in Yorba Linda California. In 2013, I graduated from the University of California, San Diego with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music Composition, cum laude. I am currently working on my Master of Music degree at The Bob Cole Conservatory at California State University, Long Beach. I have had 2 private students for the past year both for voice: -Zoe 15 -Lucas 13 I officially started teaching while I was with The After School All-Stars teaching their school of rock band. I was with them for 3 years and in that time I was able to not only have the students perform as a band but I also taught the students how to be "techies". Not all of them wanted to play instruments but they still wanted to be a part of the group so I said Why Not?" I later on returned to my old high school and have been teaching there as a musical theater teacher. Read More
