I have an extensive list of teaching experiences in public schools and communities in Indiana such as the Boys and Girls Club and Middle Way House of Bloomington, and Bloomington public schools. I have taken methods classes on teaching band and string instruments. I have specialization in teaching clarinet and voice, as I have taken specific pedagogy courses designed on the very detailed approaches of teaching these two crafts. From 2013 - 2021, I lived in the Czech Republic, developing personal and collaborative projects outside of classical music such as singing and composing for Yo Soy Indigo (freak-folk-jazz), Looncall (dark electronic), as well as solo performances of original music. Once the student can get the basics down I start with basic rock and pop tunes, or whatever music the student happens to be interested in. I teach more than 35 years now. It is a great experience combined of mostly private lessons and classroom experience. I am trying to motivate my students according to their interests and also buy using a worldly music knowledge that we inherited form generations of musicians who ever lived on Earth. I have been teaching private lessons since 2006 and love doing so. I volunteered at my arts high school for 2 years helping with all of the Jazz Band, AP Music Theory, and private instruction in multiple instruments. In 2009 I graduated from Cooperative Arts & Humanities Magnet High School focusing in Music.
