From there we will focus on building technique, musicality, and theory knowledge while focusing on cello repertoire. To end each lesson, we'll break out something fun whether that means learning a new pop song, jazz piece, or playing a cello duet. Under these teachers I've been fortunate to travel all over the country playing violin, one such location being Carnegie Hall for the crescendo competition. In recent years, I am currently now at Lipscomb University where I'm studying Biochemistry and Music. At Lipscomb, I continued to develop my music education but in a different fashion. I studied bass under Rob Byus, Blake Shelton's bass player.
