Instruments: Piano Voice Violin Fiddle

My teaching style is completely dependent on the needs and goals of the student. However, the structure of all my lessons are similar. Half of each lesson will be dedicated to technique and half of the lesson will be dedicated to a piece/tune that the student has chosen and wants to work on. I structure my lessons this way so that way the student has agency in their own learning and can learn the things they want to learn, while also building a strong technical foundation Read More

Hi there! I'm a Sacramento based violinist, violist, and bass player. I've been an instructor since 2020 and have had the privilege to work with some great students who I've gotten to explore their creativity with. I studied music at Sacramento State's School of Music at the age of 16 and began studying viola under Anna Kruger as well as chamber music under Anna Presler and Andy Luchansky. I also was granted the opportunity to study under William Barbini, a former New York philharmonic violinist and a student of Ivan Galamian. Read More

Once the basic foundation is in place the learning will become easier and the students' enjoyment will increase. Read More
