I'm a motivated and passionate teacher who loves to work with students, sharing my love for all kinds of music. I started playing piano when I was seven, and have regularly studied music under the tutelage of several wonderful and knowledgeable teachers ever since, and I continue taking private guitar lessons even today. I received a Bachelor of Music degree in Commercial Music from Belmont University in 2017. Playing with a wide variety of ensembles in a wide variety of styles, including rock/metal outfits, pop acts, country bands, jazz and fusion groups, and classical guitar duos and trios, has definitely been one of the defining aspects of my life-long music education. The handouts are in color and done with a graphics program so they're not handwritten. I teach them to play scales with a metronome and they are usually playing 16 th notes and counting it out while they play it in the first month.I want to get them off and running.
