I started playing violin at the age of nine through my elementary schools string program. In addition to performing with the Discovery Middle School and Timber Creek High School orchestras, I participated every year in the all-county and all-state orchestras and served as associate concertmaster of the Florida Symphony Youth Orchestra. I completed a double major in general music and engineering at Northwestern University in Chicago. Some of my instructional goals are keeping students motivated, cultivating an appreciation of music and instruments, guide students to find their own music style, improve confidence and self-esteem, and maintain a respectful and humorous environment. Every student is different. I try to understand what is important to them and incorporate that into the lessons.
