I am a native of Long Island, New York, and have been trained in classical voice since I was eight years old and classical violin since I was three years old, working with world renowned artists. My most recent performances include Amy in Little Women with the Hawaii Performing Arts Festival coached by the composer himself, Mark Adamo, and Cunegonde in selections from Candide with Carnegie Mellon University Opera. I love to do a combination of Suzuki and traditional styles. I believe ear-training and traditional sight-reading are both crucial to young musicians. I began Suzuki piano when I was five and I'm so thankful to have such a keen ear as a professional violinist. If the student has had music lessons before, I'm very happy to continue teaching whatever method they had previously started with. My musical background began when at 7 yrs. old I was playing the piano with my mothers instruction. I became a self taught student in brass and piano and later was accepted as a Music major to West Chester University. During HS I became known as a trumpet soloist in Regional and State Bands and in the Salvation Army brass program a cornet soloist. I've taught in public and private schools as an instrumental music teacher and later had my own studio of 50 students. Read More
