I am very passionate and dedicated music teacher, I love to be part other people development. In 2020 I graduated from New Jersey City University with a Master in Music. I have taught in a variety of musical settings with a wide range of students and abilities. I have taught independently as well as for organizations such as the Youth Orchestra of Central NJ. In 2012 I worked for Camp Encore Coda where I taught trumpet lessons, directed the Symphonic Band, coached jazz combos, and taught music theory/musicianship class.  My experience working as full time music faculty for Camp Encore Coda sparked my graduate research on overnight summer music camp, which has since been presented at three major professional conferences in the music education field at the state, national, and international level. I''m from a big music family in Venezuela, and started very young in music, this is my life and love toshare all my experiences with my students. I studied and played trumpet in the world famous "El Sistema" music program (social inclussion througt the music, speciality with youth and child symphony orchestras), and later teaching the new generations there. I believe each of us learn differently; for some students I find that they are very hands on and prefer that I show them how to do something and then allow them to perfect it others I find that they need a little more guidance and need me to go at a slower pace but regardless of the student's learning language I take my time to understand where they are and outline a plan to help them exceed to the next level. Nothing is more rewarding than seeing one of my students develop a passion for playing trumpet. Therefore, it's important that each student progresses at his or her own pace. I encourage this by setting realistic goals for my students at each lesson. Acknowledging accomplishments helps fuel a students desire to progress, and makes students eager to learn more.
