I have been in love with music for as long as I can remember! Growing up under the impression of my father, who was always involved in playing instruments and singing from a young age, you could say that it is in my DNA. From 2003-2011, nearly my entire primary school education, I was trained in music theory, music performance in orchestra and voice, and singing for the stage. Over the years I have accumulated various awards and recognition including Superior ratings in sight reading on double bass, outstanding vocal performance from the Miami Conservatory of Music, and performing alongside the county's best in the Miami Dade Honor's Orchestra. The number 1 key to a great lesson is to ensure the student is comfortable within the lesson and that they are having fun. For Vocal lessons in young beginner students, I typically walk through a few fun silly warm-ups, and breath exercises to get their voice moving free, then allow the student to sing "happy birthday" or another short song to determine pitch range. I follow-up with the "movable Do" concept ("fixed Do" for more advanced), to recognizable songs to teach pitch recognition, diction, and vowel sound in preparation for solo repertiore. Read More

My teaching style is based on traditional classical approach of Russian Piano teaching method. For younger, beginner level student lessons are structured around different activities and games (for very young students) to learn notes reading and rhythm. For intermediate and more advanced students each lesson starts with a warm up, of scales, arpeggios, etudes or other technical pieces. After that we move onto working on individual pieces of music. Student is explained what needs to be done to achieve desired results for each specific piece, and the homework is written in a notebook for the following lesson. Read More

I really take a look at what the student needs to learn and what the student wants to learn because I've seen a lot of students giving up because the institution or teacher is giving to much theory and very poor practice. I try to balance those responsibilities to a point that the student will always be learning something new as long as I work on their motivation and consistency of keeping up so they can learn how to play anything they like and want. It is important for students to progress at their own pace. Every student is different and some will be willing to practice for hours every day to get to where they want to be, and others are more casual and may practice less than 20 minutes a day. The important thing to know is no matter what you are doing it is okay, as long as you are having fun or you're doing what you want, or what will make you happy. Read More

I incorporate a balance of technique, theory, ear training, and creative explorationensuring that students not only build skills but also develop musical intuition and confidence. Positive reinforcement is key to my approach. I celebrate every milestonebig or smalland I emphasize consistency, intentional practice, and joy in the process. I am patient, supportive, and attentive to the unique learning rhythms of each student. My ultimate goal is to help students not just play music, but live itdeveloping a deep, personal connection to their instrument and a lasting love for music. Read More
